Meridian Z - By Zathura3

The Basics

1. Download the game from Steam

There are two ways of downloading the game, the easiest one is on Steam, Steam is the biggest platform for downloading and buying games. After you have Steam, go to store and type on the search bar "Meridian 59", if nothing appears try checking your filters/languages. Click download, wait and hit play!

2. Create your account and login

Pro Tip: The game always remembers your username, but not your password.

3. Create a Character

All changes will be permanent when you click Ok on the last screenn

4. Character's name

Type your character's name, could be anything you like! (It should follow the rules), when I started on Meridian I wanted to use a name I never used before in online games. I thought about a cool movie I grew up watching, it was called Zathura: A Space Adventure, and I used the number 3, because I also never used it before.

I've seen so many cool names, magical and cool sounding ones from books and films fit well Meridian, because everyone in the MUD days were nerds and geeks! This name will define you in-game, people will remember you with it, and will almost never forget.

5. Appearence

If your having a hard time here, don't worry at least I had it too. Meridian's male faces are strange, but when you achieve the end game, you will probably wear some masks. (Looks cool as heck!)

Stats

Statistics, simply know as stats by the community, are literally, the base of your character. So THIS IS IMPORTANT.

Intelect: Determines the power of spells for Jala and Riija schools (See link below for more)

Might: What defines your weapon damage and your carrying capacity. (Carrying more items = selling more Items = making more money) regen your hitpoints, as well your vigor.

Mysticism: Soft caps for spell powers from Faren, Qor, Shal'ille, and also max mana with mana nodes.

Agility: Defense stats. Soft cap for dodge, block, parry and scimitar wielding. Agility give x4 defense points which are not visible on the client

Aim: Meridian's most sacrificed stat, it is the offensive one, soft cap for short sword wielding, fencing, fire and archery.

You don't really need to memorize all of this, but it is good to know! By default, have two builds, either Mage, Warrior or Hybrid. I'm not a professional, I chose Warrior stats and it is just working fine. If you want more customization see this post .
